Bob Howarth (Founder of the Islands own Big Band and teacher of most of the Island’s best players and teachers……)

Ray Jolliffe (Founder Member of The Unity Stompers and drummer for more than 40 years).

Pete Kelly (Little Pete, wonderful pianist and violinist - rather noisy though !!). 

Jerry Lowe (Trombone and Watering Can with the Goose Island Syncopators - fun loving, a great guy)

Colin Nicholls (Reed man and Gentleman - one of the old school)

Dave Norris (Vocalist and front man of the Unity Stompers during the Falcon Years)

Pete Smith (Tenor Sax, Vibes - a champion of young jazzers and responsible for publishing the buskers’ bible: Pocket Changes)

Dick Sparks (Double Bass, Bass Guitar, French Horn, Golf Clubs - A mainstay of the Island music scene from Symphony Orchestra to Shows and Big Band to Holiday Camps. Simply one of the best)

Roger Taylor (Keyboards with Bob Howarth Big Band and Enormous Small Band - always a great encouragement to the youngsters, a natural teacher).

Wally Webster (WOW - a world class pianist who was a huge influence on everyone who heard him. Everybody’s favourite piano tuner)

Frank Wheeler (Piano, Trombone, Vocals, Arranger, Conductor. An immense talent who was involved in every aspect of Island music. Irreplaceable)
